My birthday is a couple of days away, and I already bought myself gifts !

1st one is my new iPhone 3G/16GB/Black version. I used my existing T-Mobile number and converted the number to subscription number. After activation, I was able to test 3G for almost an hour or so. The speed is impressive and I was able to download 3/4 apps using App Store. After that, the 3G stopped working and even the connectivity is also gone.

After checking with T-Mobile store, they told me that it will take a day to activate all the features. And the initial one hour is for testing. I need to check again tomorrow if my 3G service and Visual VoiceMail etc. are working fine or not.

The other gift is ADC Select membership. I got my membership kit with XL T-shirt which says ‘I  code’. This is certainly going to help (the membership, not the T-shirt) a lot with my ongoing projects for Mac/iPhone.

UPDATE [Aug 5 12:17 AM]: 3G started is now working fine on the iPhone, and the MobileMe push services are also seem to be working fine.
