My super cool workplace at Lunatech

by Vijay Kiran

In my 10 years of programming career, Lunatech is probably the best company to work with.

  1. Herman Miller Aeron: Ultimate Programmer’s Chair
  2. Nerf Recon CS-6 with N-Strike Darts: For fun times.
  3. 17″ Mac Book Pro with 8GB RAM, SSD running Emacs in Full Screen: Ultimate Programmer’s Computer
  4. The Joy of Clojure: The book for Ultimate programming language
  5. mStand for MBP: For enhanced ergonomics and coolness factor

Not shown in the photo:

Nice, It will be even better with a 2d screen ;)

I prefer this setup, but that’s just me. Everyone else at lunatech has 27″ apple cinema display. http://www.lunatech-research.com/archives/2012/01/10/late-christmas :-)

        Okay then ;)
I like to have one side for the IDE & one side for the Browser. But yeah its cool if you can do without it.

I completely agree with you that having two monitors help – but If you use anything app in fullscreen mode – the other screen is completely useless on Lion.

Oh, you seem to disagree with my mStand-usage. I’d like to point out the fact mentioned in the post that I’ve a NERF gun and I’m not afraid to use  it to settle difference of opinion :)

PS: iCurve looks nice though! Not sure if it is strong enough for 17″.

Oh, I don’t disagree with your use of a stand! Always a good idea. It’s just that the iCurve is cool.

And it holds 17″ laptops fine.
